So for those of you who didn't know - 17th May was IDAHO - or the International Day of Homophobia. Its funny seeing on this day the homophobic comments on a website previously mentioned were still coming out (no pun intended!) and still continues!
Also - it is not long until Lincolnshire Pride now - its just 60 days away until Lincoln welcomes the gay community from around the country for the big celebration of gay life! Hopefully more of the City Councillors will be there to support the event than last year. I am told is to be opened by the City Mayor Hilton Spratt (but I think that is still to be confirmed).
On different issues - I think I have a major crush - his name is Shane and he is a work colleague of mine. Him and me seem to have hit it off as friends and we are meeting for coffee sometime this week!! He is so sweet and attractive and I know thats why I fancy him - but friends is better than pushing him away.
Work at St Peter and St Pauls is going well - have 2 exams to supervise tomorrow and 2 on Wednesday this week. Still seems strange being back at my former school as staff - can't get used to calling my former teachers by their first names!!
Updates on matters will follow when information is available!

Standing Strong
Last friday was the funeral of baby Jamie. It was a very moving and emotional service. Funerals are not the best of things at any time - however one of a baby is worse than everything. My thoughts are still with Michael, Michelle and the rest of Jamie's family at this time.
Back to the election, and I came 6th out of 13 with 592 votes - not bad for my first time. Unfortunately in Moorland where I live - Oliver Peeke retained his seat - next time Oliver!!!
In other news - I am now 21!! Had my birthday last thurs and my party on sun - both were great days - thanks to all those who made it special!!
Also, officially finished uni on fri (results pending) so its now out to the big wide world.
Start at St Peter and St Paul's on Wed and invigilated my first exam - KS3 Maths! At least the exams were not long this time - unfortunately they are going to get longer!
See ya all later

Minus 24 hours
Its now around 24 hours till the polls close on the elections - in about 29 hours I could be a councillor - how very scary.
Anyway - just a couple of quick election funnies to share with you.
The first was while I was out canvassing and doing a small road that ran parallel with a main road. As a went to knock on the door the doormat caught my eye. It read 'clothes optional beyond this point' at which point a turned around and knock on the door in the same passage - saving my embarassment.
The second strangely enough happened on the same street. This time I was delivering to a flat that was access down a small alley at the back of the main row of houses. I had just opened the gate to access the garden of the flat where I was faced with a very fit guy stood there just in boxers with a very noticable tenting in them - he was on his way to shut the gate as it was banging against the post. I didn't know where to look and just smiled and handed the leaflet to him.
Lets hope I continue to deliver to that area as everything seems to happen there.
WHEELS AND NO DEALS UPDATE Pt 2
My dad got the car fixed to day - it cost only £60 - bit of a difference from the £700 the garage had estimated!! Hurray for small car repair places - plus he fixed the work they had done incorrectly free of charge!!!!!
Thats all for today - off to bed to get some sleep before helping with Good Mornings tomorrow!! Will let you know the results!!!
