A couple of days ago, I was working on the Customer Service desk at Morrisons when I phone call was past down to me. Now this is where the confusion began. The line was very poor and it was difficult to hear the gentleman on the other end of the line. The first time he spoke I thought he was askin to speak to Darren Lane, the checkout manager. Eventually I got what he was asking after asking him to repeat what said a couple of times. He was asking Morrisons for a taxi to pick him up from Water Lane so he could come and do his shopping. I had to explain that as a supermarket we don't have a taxi service and suggested he ring one of the city taxi firms to order one, but he proceeded to rant about how we at Morrisons should provide transport to shuttle shoppers to and from the store. I will add here that he was a youngish man - I would understand it more if he was older - but hey thats the general public for you
